The Soil
Here at The Chef’s Garden, we know that sustainably grown crops leverage the power of
plants to balance soil and the environment. Applying the principle of photosynthesis to the plant selection process, we also chose cover crops for their capacity to produce massive amounts of roots and their efficiency in converting Carbon Dioxide to Oxygen.
The plants we chose naturally recapture Carbon from the environment and enrich the organic content of the soil as they decay. This balance, promoted by sustainable agriculture, is important in combating the buildup of greenhouse gases in our environment and ensuring our soil is fertile for future generations.
